Servant Garden

Servant Garden

Transportation provided.(15 minutes from UNCG).

Once a month, the Office of Leadership and Service-Learning heads out to the Servant Garden located at the Healing Ground Retreat Center in Summerfield. The Servant Garden was constructed and maintained with the goal of providing Guilford County's hungry with fresh fruits and vegetables in mind. The edible items that are grown in this garden are donated to local non-profit agencies charged with feeding members of our community in need.

Servant Garden is a great way to get your hands dirty, meet other UNCG community members who are interested in doing good for Greensboro, as well as a wonderful way to play outside!

For more information about the Servant Garden, contact Peer Council member, Regetta Spearman, at rkspearm@uncg.edu.

Stay tuned for information on our next trip to the garden!
