MLK Read On Book Drive

Wednesday, November 4, 2009
By emkamisc

Going home for Thanksgiving? If so, bring back children’s books! Leading up to the 2010 MLK Day of Service on January 18, 2010, UNCG along with other triad campuses will host a children’s book drive competition. Books collected for the MLK READ ON! BOOK COLLECTION DRIVE will be donated to local youth-serving organizations. So, in the spirit of friendly competition, spartan pride, and literacy…Please donate! Deposit books in the donation box in front of the information desk in the Elliott University Center. Look for other donations boxes around campus! *If you have questions, please contact OLSL, (336) 256-0538 or lead@uncg.edu.
