Events

The OLSL hosts several events throughout the year to support and promote service-learning at UNCG.

Faculty Van Tours

Visit community partner organizations and hear the perspective of community partners on how to develop relationships for shared learning.

Speaker Series

Guest speakers facilitate seminars to enhance UNCG’s capacity for community engagement and leadership.

Faculty Development Workshops

Service-learning workshops give faculty the key components of service-learning, pedagogy and practice tips, and tools for assessing learning through written and oral reflection. “Finding and Maintaining Community Partners” workshops help faculty to identify opportunities to partner and learn about best practices for partnerships.

Pathways to Achieving Civic Engagement (P.A.C.E.) Conference

Hosted by North Carolina Campus Compact at Elon University in the Spring Semester. Registration paid by OLSL.
